Growing up

Hmmm kay I'm just lazing around so I just thought i'd blog cause it's one of the few things I really love doing.
I don't really have an exciting social life, although I've got to admit that I spend lots of time socializing, be it online or in reality. So like i'm the kind that goes out a lot, or party. Hahaha I haven't partied before..... Okay, so yeah. I can't exactly blog about every thing and every activity that's happening cause my life is pretty routine-ish and boring.
I realized like, with every year that pass by, the perception of things change kinda drastically I guess.
Take for example, ahhhhhhhhh the classic example, love.
When I was in primary school, I didn't even know like what exactly was love like. I only know my parents loved me cause they bought me stuff and Jesus loved me so much that he died for me on the cross. That's bout it.
But like now? People that I know in primary schools know so much man..... Like how sex occurs, how to flirt or court a girl, how to attract boys.
& I pretty much realized it isn't really cause their batch is screwed up or anything. It's probably cause the things around them shape their minds.

iPhone > internet > text > fb/twitter

It's like the power of social networking platforms allows to interact with information that I probably only fully understood in secondary.... It's kinda scary.
Relationships at 12 and taking them really seriously? Twelve yrs old, really. Hahah. Mmmmm.

I remember listening to like kiddy songs until I was in primary 6... And then there were songs like tattoo (jordinsparks), teardrops on my guitar (taylorswift).

But now my primary three brother is listening to songs like love the way you lie, just the way you are, lighters, moves like Jagger etc.
They aren't bad songs really..... But isn't it abit too early hahaha.

Actually these (social media, songs etc) aren't really the parts that urk me.... The things that truly urk me is the fact that girls are hurting themselves, self mutilation etc. Some girls mull over the fact that they are heartbroken. Boys are taking relationships lightly (at their tender age). It's just really sad to see all these happening srsly haha.

Okay am I still making sense, I hope so hahaha I shall stop here. Ciao

Hellu everyone! :) holidays have started for most people but I have extended curriculum :( okay la I guess it's a good way to help us with the transition to sec four..... But I honestly can't wait for the remaining of whatever holidays I have! Hahah sigh. I bought a dress and a pair of hw shorts recently. The dress is new, still with the tag that states 34.90$, but I got it for 8$! Wooohoo, and the pair of shorts is also new, I got it at 10$. Yay sucha steal man, happygirl96.
I guess retail therapy does help when I'm bored, or sad, or down etc....
Still pretty demoralized by my results, I'm so dumb sigh.
Oh today I made my way home with my brother, and he offered to carry my sch bag! How sweet ;) these are the little things that make days better I guess.

Shopping with my dad!

Hi everyone! So like uhm last week my dad brought my family to parkway. I walked ard and I saw Cotton On! So I was like omg can I go in? Cause I haven't been shopping for like super duper uber long haha. & then my dad was like, uhhhhhhh I prefer forever 21 leh. And I was like...... Omg my dad just said he preferred f21. After that he went on to say he'd bring me shopping to like get me cooler clothes and all, I'm like omg yeah okay.

So today, he brought me shopping as promised!
Scape > H&M > forever21 > CottonOn > bugis

It's was pretty awesome, all the walking and everything was worth it :p

Hmmm so like I went to the scape flea and got a pair of shorts. Tried on alr, omg its like kinda tight for me sigh......
After that I went to H&M! Alright lords people like told me different stuff, some said it was awesome some said it was terrible. Here's my verdict:
Price range: 8/10
The stuff there are surprisingly affordable! Like $3.90 onwards.
Variety: 9/10
They have like women, men and kids wear. So yup.
Comfortability to shop: 7/10
I didn't really like the crowd...... That's my opinion uh.
Final verdict?
I think H&M is pretty alright but it's like gonna be another uniqlo/cottonon.....
Wouldn't bother braving the crowds again anytime sooner until it's the summer season cause now they've got lotsa winter clothes!

So yeah if you guessed, I didn't get anything from H&M! Hahaha.
After H&M I headed down to forever21 which was way better! Hehehe.
Bought a taupe knitted wear and the rainbow knitted thingy. THEY ARE SO SO SO SO COMFY.

Moved onto cotton on next but.... Nothing caught my eye.
Trained down to bugis, it felt like going from the US and straight to china to shop! Haha if you get what I mean. The prices are really different man. I guess quality don't really vary THATTTTT much uh. So yeah omg my legs really ache now. Like really aching so badly.

Love my dad for everything, he's awesome.

Results.

Sigh been getting back results during the past two days. Twitter has been spammed about disappointment over and over again & also people encouraging one another (that's one of the many reasons why I love twitter)
TWITTER > FACEBOOK foreverrrrrrr.
Okay so like I failed both sciences, pure Phy and Chem....... Honestly I think like Temasek has really REALLY hard papers, to me that is. Sigh but I'm still sad I failed, kinda expected it hut yet I wished I could've maybe manage a pass. But nooooo. This is the harsh reality. I did kinda well for maths paper 2 but my paper 1 pulled down, I still pass overall which is like super good for my standard alr! (remember that post I did on how demoralized maths made me feel haha).
Thankfully I passed English as well which slims my chances of retaining...... But well, I'm kinda upset that like I let my parents down and stuff. (haven't told them bout my miserable grades YET.)
but the truth is I've been working my ass off for the past few months,
Which is like going for tuition 4 times a week, doing practices etc.
& also my parents took my phone cause they see it as a distraction (which is totally cool with me).
So I've done whatever I could given my weak foundation and all but sigh.................
I just hope like I'll do well for my Os. Next. Year.

This world is so practical and realistic. My parents are so practical and realistic. They use my latest results as an reflection of my supposed "ability".
But srsly speaking, sometimes it just looks really bad but how do I explain that I've already tried my best though my results don't show?

Marina barrage with my level!

Exams are over! Fyeahhhh so like SCP organized the post exam activity for the sec threes @ marina barrage.
Well it was like kinda fun I suppose! Each class got to play 5 station games each and have a class picnic after wards. I was in charge of the station "learn your facts".
The game is like, I have a list of facts and the class have to guess like if their true or false, & if they guessed wrongly, THEY GET SPLASHED! (but if they're right, I'd splash them anyways nyehehehhe)
So like uhm I reached sch at 6:30am dragging my waterguns to sch.
I was at the station with Johann and ChuanWei, they were really nice cause they're the ones that keep refilling he buckets!
Oh there was a major cockup in the morning, apparently marina barrage didn't wanna switch on the fountains like srsly man. But in the end with some adjustments everything was rather fine and I'm glad most people enjoyed themselves ;)

Service learning!

-We went to Saint andrew's community centre.
-Atiqah has really nice vocals.
-We were afraid the balloons might pop when we're there and give the old people heart attacks.
-There was a lady that said she fell from the 1st to 6th floor.
-there was an old lady that thought Bryan and Clarissa were married.
-Janelle's cookies were really awesome, literally melted in my mouth!
(thank God she whatsapped me the recipe)
-ZiBin had a new phone that and e was playing POKEMON.
-went to Sakae Sushi with Amos.

Freaking app

Omg I'm freaking pissed with this damn app. Okay so I've been blogging on my phone cause I don't have like my personal computer.
I bought this app called the blog booster for freaking US$2.99 which is like 3 $.
it never fails to crash on me, like when I'm typing a post, it'll just shut down for no reason. & the worst thing is I have to painstakingly redo the whole damn post AGAIN!
Can you just imagine the frustration.

And today, I went to the AppStore. Searched "blogger" and there's this orange app with the blogger sign that's like free.

BLOGGER FINALLY DECIDED TO MAKE THEIR OWN OFFICIAL FREE APP, after I bought the blog booster app that never fails to "error fail" me or close down on me halfway.

Sweetie pie

Hi everyone long time no see ahahaha. Wait is it no see or no talk or no blog or......... okay nvm.
Anyway, decided to update this dead but precious space since my exams are over. Yay.
I don't know why but like although exams are over there isn't really that sense of "OMG EXAMS ARE OVERRRRR" feeling. It's just woohoo yay. Hahaha ah well life of a sec three.

So my bro came back from APSSO, some national competition in Jakarta. He went for a week like after his PSLE! Haha he met this really cute Malaysian player ahahaha and now he has two of her badminton shirts lololololol how cute. I find that extremely adorable hahaha!
Hmmm so yeah after he's back I'm like not really used to seeing him lazing ard cause usually he'd always be mugging so terribly hard for psle but well, can't wait to see his results.

If you were wondering, my bestfriend Shawn, and I aren't together! Haha I'm not lying, srsly guys we aren't. But I really appreciate our friendship now, like we can talk about literally anything and everything under the rain and sun, and not feel awkward, which is totally cool man.
I've also caught up with Prudence recently. We aren't THATTTT close but omg, she never fails to make my day and we always get together again after talking things out. :)

I guess sometimes life isn't always all that great but well, with certain people ard they just make everything seem better.
