the day before school officially starts

Hey all!
Hope everyone's posting went alright, :-)

Orientation's tmrw and surprisingly i'm not hyped up.
Maybe it's cause i had like induction programme so i'm all used to the school already.
Even chose my subjs and everything's going well :D

My fave sch shirt
I hope tmrw will go fine.
I make friends pretty well but,

I'm still not very sure about how tmrw will go... New people, new culture.
I guess i'll miss tms cause everyone knows everyone and its cool.

AH WELL, change is indeed the only constant.

its official, thank God.

Hey guys!
So if you follow me on instagram or you're on my fb, you would've seen this pic already.
just in case you're wondering, this is taken off my O level results slip :-)

I dsa-ed to Raffles way before my Os. I guess I wanted to just send in my application to JCs and see if any of them would offer me a place in their school.
It was really harmless just to send in my application, I mean like its free HAHA kidding.
The thing is, I wasn't planning on applying to Raffles. I mean, Its really a school where i'll never think of going to.
In simple terms, its out of my league haha.
I decided to just try. Since i didn't have to go for any try outs, just an interview.
then, BAM I received an offer on my birthday (4th july).

Many people would think like, woahhhhh easy already la, very shiok etc.
but NO. haha
Once people knew abt my offer, they would generally pass off remarks like how i should consider withdrawing my offer, how i'll not fit in and basically reasons why i CANT and SHOULDNT go to Raffles.

I'm a person that gets easily affected by what people say sometimes. Especially if its extremely crude or negative... It's normal i'd suppose.
Well, I already planned to go through the A level route.
So if i can get the best.. why not?
Whether its RJC or other JCs, A levels will be tough and stressful.
I'm not trying to get into the school to satisfy my pride.
I just want the best for my future.

Honestly speaking, I'm not smart by nature. If I don't study for a test, (no i won't magically pass), I'd fail. Horribly haha.
But i'm willing to work my ass off for something I really want.

Actually RJ's offer to me, was in a way like a morale boost.
Finally, i get recognised and rewarded for my hardwork and achievements in my sport.
This was something i held close to my heart because,
people rarely noticed my successes but mainly on my failures.

Anyway, I don't wanna go all emo-nemo hahaha.
I applied to both AJC and RJC, and by God's grace both offered me a place.
This was close to a miracle because I did terribly for Midyears.

Right now i'm just thinking about how i can snap out of my holiday mode ahhh :'(
Because school starts on 17th Jan for me, so i'm back to all the waking up early routines and all.
gotta fix my body clockkkkkkkkk

thank you for reading, have a good night x

poly or jc

Hi all.
I'm officially 4 days away from receiving my O level results.
So i've been going to poly open houses, mainly TP and NP.
Wanted to go to SP also though :-(
but didn't have enough time on sat so i'll probably head down tmrw.

TP has quite a fun atmosphere! I'm actually interested in Law and management and the digital forensics course.
TP is the only poly that offers Law and Management as a course, so it was quite interesting speaking to one of the lecturers.
 :-)
The digital forensics course made me really interested in it! I think cause the student which explained what it was abt was really detailed and summarised everything in a nutshell.

NP was pretty big and I was quite exhausted when I reached there so yeah.
The ambassadors played a big role haha I would've been lost!

-

Anyway, I realised that university after poly seems like quite a common thing.
That's great cause I wanna go to university in the end haha.
But honestly, personally I wanna do law.
So its quite an academic based subj compared to like business and engineering.
Maybe JC would be more apt for the uni course I wanna do?
thats what i think.

Something my dad did for me when I was choosing my subjs in Sec 2 was, "If i qualify for pure sciences, what would i do?" etc.
So maybe you can list down what route you'd take if you get lets say, 12 points.

At least you decide after thinking for a few days, and not cause you're in a rush for time.

sigh results will be out really soon & i guess the real thinking and choosing comes right after :'(
Shall just sit back and relax for now.

blog design

So i decided that my blog was too pink and colourful and it was getting abit too messy so i changed it.
Does it look nice though? :(

Sigh i don't know... >:(

random night rant

Hi anyone who's still awake at this hour.
Sometimes you just have so much on your mind.. its really hard to just "sleep it off".
I over-think quite a lot, but well my body's clock is screwed up as well.

Results for Os are coming out like... in approx 5-8 days?
I'm worried.
I really don't want to disappoint my parents, especially my Dad. He has such great expectations of me, I really hope he won't be upset.
I don't want to disappoint myself. After all the solid long hours put in at the airport just studying, the one thing i honestly hate to do sometimes. I mean, it isn't a natural inclination. For me.
I don't want to disappoint Shawn. The one person who went through 85% of the hell with me.
I remembered how I was going through this period when I felt like a piece of useless thing. Cause that's what everyone was telling me. About how lousy my results were and shit.
We were on the bus and he showed me the Hall of fame music video. He said sometimes although you feel like you're failing at everything and everyone tells you that you can't do it, just pull through and work hard, and don't ever give up.
It meant a lot to a emotionally unbalanced person like me at that time. It gave me this, emotional boost.

I've been pretty much bumming around through post Os period.
I honestly worked hard for it. Albeit the fact that i started slightly late... I really worked my ass off.
It's just so frustrating how some people can achieve amazing grades so seemingly effortless. Really.

-

I don't know if my parents read my blog... if they do...
-gasps
If any of you realise, I don't really go deep on like, things revolving my life that may cause my parents to want to speak to me, yeah that kinda stuff.
But I realised that I have to start opening up somewhere or i'll just explode.
So i guess i'll start by blogging. :-):-) lol

-
Times like these, I'd really appreciate.

Goodnight x

I don't rlly have a habit of keeping a planner so i thought why not? since it's a great way to start my year planned :-)
I went down to 313 Somerset and I saw typo!
It's quite a small shop but you'll definitely NOT miss it.
5$ sales signs were pasted everywhere & I looked to Shawn and like,
LEGGGOOOOOO

They have all the pretty notebooks (of all sizes), tote bags, lap top bags, stationery, notepads etc
Thankfuly, there were still a lot of pretty items under 5 bux hehe

I wanted to get waaay more but Shawn thankfully psyched me out of buying so many hahahah

These are the items i got, all for below 5bux each :-):-):-)
