Day w Seb ma homie!!

It's the second week of June already and..... let's just say I don't think I've gotten my shit together just yet. No point panicking, so I decided I should just do smth about it. Dropped ma homie Satli a text the week before and she said she was free and up for studying so heheh we decided to have a study sesh!!!!  Fun fact: did you know her name is pronounced as She bree nah but it's spelt as Sebryna(which is also her insta name) and not Sabrina ?!?!? i never knew hahahaha

We were suppose to meet at 2:45 but we were both late HAHAH reached Siglap Starbucks around 4+/5!! Although we aren't thaaaaaat close (yet), our convo had no problem starting and hehehe I love talking to her!!! like she told me about how she was so hungry and decided to get a hand roll from Umisushi, had problems unwrapping it etc hahahaha, 

our convos are nothing much but definitely hilarious HAHAHA 

The weather was insanely hot, thankfully we managed to get seats in the aircon area hehe. I didn't draw on eyeliner initially, but Seb thought I looked nice in eyeliner and she realised that she brought her eyeliner out so... TADAAAAAA I have eyeliner on.

our study sesh was quite productive...... although we got distracted at times by two cute guys we spotted heheh quite funny actually cuz we couldn't stop giggling and shit HAHAHA.

Seb also got the do a survey get a free drink thingy, which i ALWAYS miss somehow. My friend who orders after me always gets it, friggin unlucky :'( but hey she did the survey there and then, &&& shared the free drink with me :') so nice of her. 

anyway, yay!!!! to productivity (what we desperately need rn haha). 

After that we left around 8:30 ish :--)

Headed off for dinner! She suggested Strictly Pancakes. 

I was initially very reluctant to step in cuz.. Shawn used talk about how he'll bring me there and that I'll def love it. But we never went and shit happened so... yup. In the end I decided to go with it anyway cuz, fuck it la I can't keep avoiding shit and possibly deprive myself because I let the past affect the present.

She has had Strictly quite abit soooo she recommended me The druggie!! and gave me her opinions of the other ones too heh. We both ordered the same thing cuz craving for sweet stuff. Decided to downsize cuz I wasn't feeling 3 pancakes hahaha

Loving her dip dyed blue hair!!! which faded to purple, I LOVE IT so pretty.

Can I just say I am so glad I downsized my meal?? do not underestimate how filling these pancakes are, halfway through and I already was super full :'((((( couldn't finish my meal, only finished the strawberries, ice cream and 1 1/2 pancakes HAHAH insane.

walked to the busstop feeling like we ate the entire store HAHAHA we were SO full.

went to study with gaLEXyyy hehe after church. sent this pic to my mum and she was just like wow she looks cheerful where's my daughter. and... I was just like, oh she's busy studying hard HAHA

Study break!! went off to get bread from Bakerzin.

There were people giving out free toblerones!!! they were melted uh but hey it's the thought that counts so awwww :')

came back to MORE toblerones left on our table (these weren't melted HEH)

not too bad pretty productive hehe but I feel perpetually unproductive idek why.

ahhhh how time flies. What used to be one of my favourite days in a year, was now one that I would really dread :---( the day came anyway, 10th (of June). 

Was really determined to not let myself fall back on what used to be.

texted my manicurist and she had a slot for me!!! yay to getting my nails done hehe

before leaving the house, was really fascinated with the different shades of brown in my hair heh.

did classic gelish!!! I SWEAR BY GELISH. it's srsly da bomb.

I can't deal with normal nail polish cuz

1) I'm really bad at painting my own nails

2) It lasts me 2-3 days max, then it'll be ruined by me trying to zip my bag or like not doing anything much at all :--(

Dropped by the Converse sale at Tampines because my love for Converse will never die and my mother had agreed to buy me a new pair awhile back cuz my black ones are kinda falling apart :'(

Honestly do not know what to feel about being able to fit into a Kids size 2. that's quite insane isn't it ahahaha. Decided that my feet may grow in the future so I went back to switch this pair for a lilac one in a feminine (?) cut? idk it's like a more ladylike cut than the usual converse. 

was kinda sad though, I fit a size 3 but they stopped making kids size 3 so grrrrrrr

really like the purple black turquoise combi but sigh it was only avail under the kids range

bought this basic top for $3.........................

that's the thing about pain, it demands to be felt.

I remember feeling really excited yet slightly bummed out about knowing that The Fault In Our Stars (TFIOS) would be released on the 6th of June, cause really wanted to watch it but I felt like I didn't have anyone to watch it with?? I tried my luck and told Bryan something along like "eh if you no date till then and plans to watch it shall we watch together" and yay he agreed. We have always been movie buddies somehow HAHA like we always end up watching movies together?!?!?

So anyway we arranged to watch TFIOS today!!!! our friendship is completely platonic btw haha just saying, I know it might be (a bit) hard to believe but we are L E G I T fwens

I.. was.. late. as usual haha but thank God we've been friends for so long, he knows me all too well and wasn't (too) mad HAHAHAHA thank u boredbryan

Walked into Payless and we both agreed this pair of shuz fit him pretty well but... no moolah no shuz.

Bought gongcha and headed for the movie after. 

The movie was really simple. and I feel like to really appreciate and love this movie you must love it's script. I really love the use of words in this movie. The amount of quotes you can get from this movie is amazing haha.

Honestly I won't talk about what the movie is about and all cause that's something you can google and I don't think I will do the movie justice trying to review it? haha idk just feel that I'm not very good at that. I just felt like the movie brought out and reminded me of past and present emotions within me. One of the only things I had in mind throughout the show was my past relationship (with Shawn), and the only person I felt like I really wanted to talk to about the show was him. It's probably quite normal i guess? since the parallels at certain parts to him/our r/s before was really apparent and well idk. Maybe in a few years time when we become friends again.

There are certain parts of the movie that got to me more than the others. The part where by her mother/father told her, "you were really lucky to have loved him right?" or smth like that. 

 also the part where they talked about infinities. Although my past relationship ended, I am still very thankful to him for our small infinity. Not everyone will get to expeience something we had you know? and I'm just thankful to have even experienced it at all.

You don't have much say about getting hurt but you do have some say in choosing who hurts you. And well, I don't wanna be play the victim here but,

 I definitely got hurt pretty badly but truth be told so did he.

I like my choices. I hope he likes his.

I have so much more I could and would probably say but well my mind just gets very tired every time I think about things relevant to my past relationship. I guess I know myself that there isn't much value in doing so and I don't do myself good. It's like an instinct actually, haha.

One thing's for sure, I've definitely grown to be a tad bit more cynical. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing but I choose for it to be a good thing :-)
