What am I reading?: The time traveler's wife

Hey all!
So like, my blog is generally dead cause:
1. I'm a JC student
2. I hardly have time to go out
3. When I go out it's probably not an interesting place

yeah you get my drift haha
SO! I decided to start this segment thing called "What am I reading?".
I know it may sound quite lame..
like, "wah she think she damn popular or what start this kind of thing."

I just think it'll be quite interesting, and it may help others discover a good read!
Disclaimer though: I'm gonna be very like simple in bring across my thoughts.
Go google if you want a professional review haha

I'll probably do this every week? I try k heh

So here's my very first book:

I'm the type of person that doesn't rlly like to read..
Unless it's a genre i'm interested in or people strongly recommend it.

I love romance novels and this book was definitely a twist to the normal loveydovey plots!

Basically: It's about this guy who can time-travel. When he does, he can't bring anything with him (including his clothes). Hence, he's always on the run, usually in the buff and searching for clothes.
He can't control when he wants to time-travel or where he wants to.
He meets this girl at different junctures of her life, and vice versa. They fall in love.
The thing is, she spends her life waiting for him.

My thoughts: It's sad how, he can't be with her at some of the most impt occasions. Even when they do get married, it's uncertain whether he can stay throughout the ceremony, or even be present.

I would definitely recommend this book :) although some parts it was a bit draggy.
I would rate this: 3.9/5

till then!

void

I'm starting to like the idea of skipping school.. which is bad.
It's not that I hate school or my school sucks, i guess i'm just tired.
Maybe I haven't gotten used to the depth and craziness of JC. idek honestly
I hardly get to see Shawn as well. sigh
It's been SO long since we had proper quality time. I'm glad we're still hanging in there.

I'm trying to snap out of this bubble. it's hard, really
getting judged and everything lololol okay not really
I'm so worn out. & the funniest thing is, it's not even cause of CCA surprisingly.
It seems that after nationals, i'm missing my sport already.

lingering thoughts for the night to let me dwell on in my dreams.
Here's a happier picture of me and Shawn at azzura not too long ago heh:

goodnight x

Daisies are beautiful

debating in my mind with myself if I should complete my history essay outline
(no, i wont cause Mr Kwok hasn't went through the previous one)

excuses

But rlly, its a rare opportunity for me to spend time with myself,
just browsing the blogs i love, reading the weirdest ask.fm questions people get,
talking to my soulmate
& looking at him rave abt paramore's new album and random shit just to get my mind off school.
i may not have a bestfriend but having a soulmate is more than enough.

I complain about how i can't seem to get through my days..
And how As seem like something unconquerable.

These are rare nights I get, when I don't think abt my work 24/7.
I think it has become habitual, something that i've grown to like.
which scares me a little.

Then, I realised what would be truely scary,
is the day when I decide that school work is a waste of my time and energy.

Thank God for the short day tmrw,
where my lessons are all at the same classroom (this is EXTREMELY rare),
where I only have history and GP
& there's no assembly.

back to spending time with myself teehee

THE SCRIPT #3

So i'm suppose to be completing my PI now but..

Hello all!
I got Shawn tickets to The Script's concert on the 29th March :-) :-)
Bought the tickets in Jan so I was lucky enough to get the centre seats (which really wasn't too far from the stage itself hehe.
I managed to borrow June's canon DSLR for this...
AND IT WAS SUCH A GOOD CAMERA WTF!
(you should be able to tell from the pics)
like, all the videos i took was S U P E R clear :') and of course pictures as well.

This was my first concert experience, and it was amazing.
The band, crowd, atmosphere etc was soooooo good.
I'm so glad this was my first concert, would totally see them again when come back cause they were so freaking awesome live!!!!

Us with our shirts

The concert was at 8pm, we reached ard 620. Went to Gardens by the bay before that haha
& then we saw the merchandise booth.
The shirts and all were damn nice.. But it was 50$ EACH haha sian.

We were literally thinking so hard whether we should get, but we got them anyway.
Good for us though, cause at the end when the concert ended, everyone asked us where we bought the shirts and it was sold out.
The shirts are selling for 20 pounds online btw, i googled. So i guess its abt the same price :-)

We were quite restless cause we spent the earlier part of the day at Gardens and marina bay sands so yeah ahahha

The opening act was by this band called "The Unexpected".
I really loved the lights!!

AND THENNNN  THE SCRIPT CAME OUTTT HEHEHHE

Danny is such a good performer together we the guitarist and keyboardist!
He also sat near the audience a couple of times and interacted with them a lot,
which i think was really nice :-)

I could tell they loved the audience cause everyone sang along to every song man!
like the place literally echoed with our voices when they sang.

One of the highlights though, was that, Danny asked the crowd to call one of their ex.
THEN, he went down and picked this guy's phone and asked if it was ringing,
and then he said, "Hello Elaine, we would like to sing this song to you"
AND HE BEGAN TO PERFORM NOTHING WHILE HOLDING THE PHONE AND SINGING TO IT.

hahaha lucky ex-girlfriend

SO CUTE HEHE

random shot, but turn out nice!
Took this DURING the concert, check out our spazzed faces

Extremely memorable experience :') Concert was about 2 hours ++
Wouldn't give anything in the world for this :-)

till then x
